Meaning migration, Hijrah is a fictional story that loosely aligns with historical events. I’s a provocative tale of an unusual friendship between a middle-aged Muslim woman and a nineteen-year-old Christian nun. The story takes place in the seventh century AD when Islam was struggling to become a religion, and Christianity was a formidable faith with a robust following.
In this book I’ve woven a fictional story into historical events. Although I’ve done my best to stay with history, I have taken liberty of reshaping the historical facts to fit the narrative. With all that said, I hope you enjoy reading this book.

In this book K.C. takes his readers on a journey through some of the most profound moments of his life, his family’s move to America, his ascent to prosperity, his downfall, a crime, and his imprisonment, while struggling with a mental disorder that got progressively worse as he grew older.

An idea had lingered in my mind for days. It was a rather simple idea; I pictured a young woman sitting in a cramped room and being interrogated by two detectives. The story would then move between the interrogation room and the crime scene. That’s all I had, and I wasn’t sure where to go with it. Then, totally by accident, Paige’s story landed in my lap. The story of an innocent woman serving a triple-life sentence captivated me. I didn’t know it at the time, but gaining Paige’s freedom would become my life’s mission.
